T-Mobile set to ship Samsung Behold II Android smartphone on November 18

The Samsung Behold II had been waiting to take off on T-Mobile for quite some time now. The carrier has now announced the date of launch. The Android 1.5 based phone will start shipping on November 18.

T-Mobile is most likely to price the device between $200 and $230 on a two-year contract. Though the tag has not been confirmed by the carrier, it is expected not to cost more than that. Dubbed as Samsung’s first phone to bring its TouchWiz interface, the Behold II would lure with a 3D cube menu, offering all shortcuts to tasks you need to perform. On the storage front, there are the microSDHC cards.

T-Mobile will also step into the active matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) touchscreen arena with the Behold II. The hues just captivate without impacting battery life. Set to come riding T-Mobile’s 3G network, the Samsung Behold II will incorporate a 5-megapixel camera, GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity options. These features, in turn, make the Behold II scale the same platform as most of the smartphones available today.

Further, the handset will come carrying the entire range of Google suite of apps. This apart, the Android Market would be yours to pick from for third-party apps. We like the colors the display emanates and think the TouchWiz interface can be one reason why enthusiasts would feel like rushing to stores. We are waiting for November 18.

USB Drive Filled with Beer

Beer Filled Usb Drive
A product of CNK Promotions, this unique pendrive is certainly something I would like to pocket. I swear it would not surprise me in the least to see a news bulletin somewhere where a guy decided to try to suck the beer out of his USB drive. It’d likely start with one guy either daring or offering up some small fund to do it like a dollar. It really wouldn’t take much for someone to do it. Well luckily there are no links to actually purchase....
