
The V1 Android handset from Saygus will most probably get hooked on to the Verizon network. To be christened VPhone, the handset in the works is said to be Verizon Wireless’ first Open Development Initiative handset. Expected to debut by late 2009 or early 2010, the VPhone will be yours to pick at Verizon’s sales channels.
From what we get to hear, the VPhone will boast of the capability to function as a Wi-Fi router for wireless broadband. The phone will come with a front-facing VGA camera which will be built to share live two-way video feeds with other users. Believed to be a complete smartphone with specs rivaling peers, the Saygus VPhone will be a sideways slider handset and would house a 3.5-inch....
